FBI Investigates Terror Incident at Pittsburgh Office After Car Rams Gate

A dramatic incident unfolded early Wednesday morning when a driver crashed a white Toyota into the back gate of the FBI’s Pittsburgh office. The crash happened around 2:40 a.m. at the South Side location. The suspect, identified as Donald Henson, reportedly exited the vehicle, threw an American flag over the fence, and walked away calmly while shouting incoherently.

The car was covered in profanity-laced messages, though officials have not yet revealed exactly what they said. No injuries were reported.

FBI Labels It an Act of Terror

Authorities are treating the crash as a deliberate and targeted act. FBI Pittsburgh Assistant Special Agent In Charge Christopher Giordano called it “an act of terror against the FBI.”

“This was a targeted attack on this building,” Giordano said, emphasizing the seriousness of the incident. A bomb squad was called to inspect the vehicle, but no explosives were found.

Witnesses Describe Surreal Scene

Local workers who witnessed the scene described it as unsettling. Nakeisha Brown, who works nearby, said she heard screeching tires and saw the driver exit the vehicle and remove something from the passenger side.

“At first, I thought it was a gun,” she said. “But it was a flag. He just set it on the fence and started yelling before walking off.”

Another witness, Idez Columbie, said the man “walked away like nothing happened.”

Suspect Identified

Authorities are searching for Donald Henson, a former military service member with known mental health struggles. He remains at large, and officials are urging the public to remain alert.

The FBI is continuing to investigate the motive and whether the suspect acted alone.
